Current trends in architecture are focusing on curtain walls and oversize windows to maximise natural light. For interior designers, however, these windows cause significant thermal stress on horizontal surfaces. Direct solar heat filtering through the glazing generates spikes in temperature that can cause flexible vinyl flooring to swell, compromising the flatness of the underfloor base.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n\n

Not only is technical durability vital, the aesthetic has to stay on trend too. Prolonged exposure to UV rays is the main cause of fading for synthetic flooring.
