Our SPC floors do not require any special maintenance or specific treatments. To properly take care of your floor, all you need is simple, regular cleaning:

– Daily cleaning: use a soft-bristled broom or a vacuum cleaner with no hard brushes.
– Weekly cleaning: wash with warm water and a neutral detergent specifically formulated for vinyl/SPC floors. 

SPC GXG surface materials are treated with a UV coating, i.e. a protective finish that shields against sunlight and ensures the colour tone of finishes and colours stays even over time. Thanks to this treatment, the floor provides excellent lightfastness (pursuant to standard EN ISO 105-B02, rating: 6).

SPC flooring with a class 34 rating can withstand abrasion and is ideal for moderate footfall environments, such as offices and shops, as well as for residential spaces, especially for households with pets or furniture such as chairs and trolleys/furniture with wheels.

Two transparent surface layers, i.e. the UV coating and the wear layer, ensure this protection. These layers act as a protective barrier and significantly reduces scratches and micro-scratches by reducing their appearance, thereby preserving the floor appearance over time.

The floor resistance to micro-scratches is classified as ≤ MSR-B2, in accordance with the test standard. This means that the floor can withstand light wear and tear caused by small or sharp objects, such as animal claws, heels or small tools with no visible damage.

Yes, SPC flooring is 100% waterproof and suitable for wet or damp areas. It can be laid in bathrooms, kitchens, changing rooms or hallways exposed to wet conditions, without the risk of swelling or warping.  As a result, it is not damaged by water contact and retains its stability and durability over time. However, do not leave standing water on the floor for long periods, because, over time, it can damage the finishes or joints, even though the floor is perfectly resistant.
