Our SPC floors do not require any special maintenance or specific treatments. To properly take care of your floor, all you need is simple, regular cleaning:
– Daily cleaning: use a soft-bristled broom or a vacuum cleaner with no hard brushes.
– Weekly cleaning: wash with warm water and a neutral detergent specifically formulated for vinyl/SPC floors.

SPC GXG surface materials are treated with a UV coating, i.e. a protective finish that shields against sunlight and ensures the colour tone of finishes and colours stays even over time. Thanks to this treatment, the floor provides excellent lightfastness (pursuant to standard EN ISO 105-B02, rating: 6).
SPC flooring with a class 34 rating can withstand abrasion and is ideal for moderate footfall environments, such as offices and shops, as well as for residential spaces, especially for households with pets or furniture such as chairs and trolleys/furniture with wheels.
Two transparent surface layers, i.e. the UV coating and the wear layer, ensure this protection. These layers act as a protective barrier and significantly reduces scratches and micro-scratches by reducing their appearance, thereby preserving the floor appearance over time.
The floor resistance to micro-scratches is classified as ≤ MSR-B2, in accordance with the test standard. This means that the floor can withstand light wear and tear caused by small or sharp objects, such as animal claws, heels or small tools with no visible damage.

SPC flooring reduces footfall noise even in large spaces. All GXG floors feature a 1 mm thick integrated IXPE underlay, providing it with sound dampening, which drastically reduces the noise of anything that hits it.
The floors are ideal for schools, nurseries and play areas as they are resistant to scratches and micro-scratches, stain-resistant and completely waterproof. They can withstand impacts, toys, spills of water, juices, food or other substances. Their surface is durable, easy to clean and retains its original appearance over time.
Resistance to water, steam and humidity
Yes, SPC flooring is 100% waterproof and suitable for wet or damp areas. It can be laid in bathrooms, kitchens, changing rooms or hallways exposed to wet conditions, without the risk of swelling or warping. As a result, it is not damaged by water contact and retains its stability and durability over time. However, do not leave standing water on the floor for long periods, because, over time, it can damage the finishes or joints, even though the floor is perfectly resistant.
SPC floors are robust, durable, water-resistant, and easy to clean. As a result, they are ideal for damp and high-footfall areas such as bathrooms, commercial kitchens and service areas.

Yes, the composite structure of SPC floors provides excellent stability even in environments subject to temperature and humidity fluctuations (thermo-hygrometric conditions). Thanks to its rigid stone core and its protective layers, the flooring retains its shape and flatness, preventing expansion, contraction or warping, even in rooms where temperature and humidity may fluctuate over time. These floors fit perfectly both into residential and public spaces and provide comfort, safety and durability without compromising their appearance.
Commercial use and high-footfall areas
SPC floors are highly recommended for commercial spaces, showrooms and high-traffic offices thanks to their features:
Resistance to wear and high footfall, especially when provided with a proper wear layer (for example, 0.55 mm wear layers featured in GXG floorings).
Dimensional stability: they do not warp due to temperature or humidity variations.
Low maintenance: they are easy to clean and resistant to stains and common chemical substances.

These products are designed for high-traffic commercial areas. According to tests carried out in accordance with standard EN 13329, these floors have a class 34 rating, i.e. they are suitable for heavy commercial traffic. This classification is consistent with and equivalent to the performance requirements set out in standards EN 16511 / ISO 10582 for SPC flooring intended for commercial environments.
